Other Profound Losses

I offer a compassionate virtual psychotherapy space for adults in Ontario whose losses may be deeply meaningful even when they are difficult to explain, name, or have recognized by others.

Some losses are difficult to explain to other people.

I make room for experiences that may not be widely recognized as grief but have still changed the shape of your life.

I do not ask you to prove that your loss matters

Maybe something has changed that no one else seems to recognize as a loss.

You may be grieving a version of yourself, your family, your future, your health, an important role, a sense of belonging, or the life you thought you were going to live.

You do not need to prove that your experience is significant enough to deserve support.

I offer space for what may be difficult to name

Sometimes the first part of our work is simply finding language for what has changed and what that change means to you.

We can explore the emotions, relationships, identity questions, memories, expectations, and everyday disruptions connected with your loss without forcing it into a category that does not fit.

I may draw from Attachment-based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based techniques, and Somatic Experiencing while adapting our work to your individual experience.

My intention is to offer a warm, steady place where what you are carrying can be acknowledged with care rather than expectation.

Free 15-minute consultation

Let’s start with a conversation.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Complete this short form to request a free 15-minute consultation, and I’ll follow up so you can tell me a little about what is bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Use digits and standard phone punctuation such as +, spaces, parentheses, periods, or hyphens.

You can briefly share what is bringing you to therapy and let me know whether you would prefer that I contact you by phone or email.

Please avoid including highly sensitive medical or personal information in this initial form.

Submitting this form does not create a therapist-client relationship with me. I can discuss my current availability and whether my services may be a good fit with you during our initial contact.

Practice Notice: While digital resources are openly accessible, I conduct all active psychotherapeutic sessions, intakes, and consultations strictly in English.
