Loss & Life Transitions

I support adults in Ontario through relationship endings, changes in health or identity, career transitions, retirement, and other losses that can reshape the life they expected.

I recognize that not every loss is a death.

Sometimes we grieve a relationship, a career, our health, a role, a dream, or a future we thought we were going to have.

I make room for the losses that come with change

Even changes you choose can involve loss.

You may know that something is right for you and still mourn what you are leaving behind. A transition can affect your identity, relationships, routines, security, sense of purpose, and the way you imagine your future.

If it mattered to you, it matters in our work together.

We can find your footing without rushing the process

I do not approach a major life transition as something you should simply adapt to as quickly as possible.

In our sessions, we can slow down and make sense of what has changed, honour what you are leaving behind, and explore what stability, meaning, identity, and direction may look like now.

This work may include divorce or relationship loss, changes in career or employment, retirement, changes in health or ability, shifts in family roles, or other significant transitions.

I may integrate Attachment-based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based techniques, and Somatic Experiencing according to your experience, needs, and goals.

Free 15-minute consultation

Let’s start with a conversation.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Complete this short form to request a free 15-minute consultation, and I’ll follow up so you can tell me a little about what is bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Use digits and standard phone punctuation such as +, spaces, parentheses, periods, or hyphens.

You can briefly share what is bringing you to therapy and let me know whether you would prefer that I contact you by phone or email.

Please avoid including highly sensitive medical or personal information in this initial form.

Submitting this form does not create a therapist-client relationship with me. I can discuss my current availability and whether my services may be a good fit with you during our initial contact.

Practice Notice: While digital resources are openly accessible, I conduct all active psychotherapeutic sessions, intakes, and consultations strictly in English.
